Rheological Applications for Oilfield Chemicals
How easily do materials flow? At what temperature do they exhibit changes? What impact does pressure have on their properties? How stable are structured fluids such as emulsions and suspensions?
This webinar will provide an introduction on how rheological measurements can help answer these questions. By the end of this webinar, you will understand:
- How a flow curve is used to characterize viscosity over a wide range of shear conditions
- How material properties change as a function of temperature and pressure
- How visco-elastic measurements provide information on structural stability
Engineers, chemists, students and lab technicians will find the information useful in solving problems related to oilfield chemicals and their uses.
