The current event focusses on different characterisation techniques for food and beverage testing including tribology, rheology, optochemistry, etc. During this seminar, the attendees are introduced to the testing principles, instrumentation, as well as practical applications of these techniques with real-life examples.

Dr. Kartik Pondicherry has a Doctorate in Tribology from the University of Leoben in Leoben, Austria. With over a decade of experience in the field of tribology, Dr. Pondicherry managed the global tribology portfolio at Anton Paar in Graz, Austria until the end of 2019. He later moved to India and started as a Technical Manager for Rheology at Anton Paar India. Over the past years, Dr. Pondicherry has conducted numerous seminars and trainings for people from both academia and industry across the globe. 

Mr. Amit Kumar Tripathi completed his masters in Biotechnology from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar and presently working as an Beverage Market Development Manager at Anton Paar India. Where he is responsible for the alcoholic beverage and soft drink market with focus on the measurement of alcohol concentration, turbidity, color dissolved carbon dioxide, oxygen, total package oxygen and the measurement of sugar concentration where he is working closely with the industry in order to define current and future requirements for analytical solutions.

Mr. Rahul Sharma started out strong with a Masters in Microbiology after which he moved on to gain experience in Analytical Instruments in various industries like Applied Life Sciences. He has been working with Anton Paar India since 2013 and is currently the Technical Manager for Viscometry.
