Sales Engineer

Anton Paar, one of the world leaders in laboratory instrumentation and services, has a new vacancy.

As Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for direct sales of Anton Paar instrumentation and laboratory devices for measurement of physical and chemical values, and for application services to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up
  • Effective area management and CRM utilization
  • Negotiating and handling of sales projects 
  • Supporting and consulting customers in their application needs
  • Participating at conferences and exhibitions
  • Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment
  • Working with other Anton Paar product groups to drive forward a complete solutions strategy

Requirements:

  • At least two years experience of successfully selling analytical instruments into the Pharmaceutical, Beverage,  Food , Petro or Chemical industry is benefit
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD level scientists and technicians
  • Availability to travel throughout the defined territory and occasional abroad visits for training and business meetings
  • Ideally located centrally in Prague with a full driving license
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Physics or related discipline
