Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager is in charge of managing all HR related activities within the organization. The HR Manager is responsible for providing HR support to individuals at all levels of the organization. This support includes, but is not limited to coaching, guidance, employee/labor relations, on-boarding, compensation, benefit administration, succession planning, performance management policy administration, and recruiting.


  • Acts as strategic and tactical HR support to upper management by providing assistance, counsel, advice and acts as a strategic business partner
  • Ensures policies and payroll are in compliance with Provincial and Federal employment laws and updates all related policies and procedures accordingly
  • Manages and structures new employee onboarding processes
  • Works on initiatives to reduce employee turnover rate, develop the company culture and promote team cohesion
  • Develops and manages internship program (if applicable)
  • Develops and manages Annual Performance Management
  • Coaches and supports management in HR related issues and questions
  • Develops and maintains the company’s succession plan
  • Maintains Job Descriptions, Employee Handbook and Company Policies
  • Manages and supports HR marketing efforts to ensure a powerful and positive candidate/employee experience
  • Assists in the management and administration of leaves of absences
  • Ensures personnel files are maintained
  • Manages the Expense Report approval process
  • Manages the vacation tracking process
  • Manages various HR platforms (e.g.: employee benefits, health and safety)
  • Proposes and coordinates social contribution initiatives for the organization
  • The HR Manager also performs various other confidential duties as needed to assist the General Manager


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources related field
  • 2 years of experience in an HR related role
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good business understanding
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritizing and organizational skills are essential
  • Strong customer service skills
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Bilingual (EN/FR) candidates are preferred
  • Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license and passport
