Zeta Potential Analysis of Large Particles, Fibers and Membranes

This one day event is aimed at those interested in learning about the endless possibilities of zeta potential measurements for surface characterization. Participants will be introduced into the science behind this technique as well as learn more about application for specific products and processes. There will also be the opportunity to get hands-on experience with Anton Paar instruments and test your own samples.

Christine Körner is the international product manager for solid surface charge instrumentation at the Anton Paar headquarters in Austria. She earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Graz University of Technology, Austria, as well as a degree in Business Administration before joining Anton Paar in 2011 as a product specialist for material characterization.

Dr. Eric Smolensky received his Ph. D. in chemistry from the University of Minnesota and is a senior analytical chemist at Ebatco. Dr. Smolensky has over 10 years of professional experience focusing on nanoparticle surface science, chemical analysis, and education. He has published more than 10 scientific articles in journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and ACS Nano.  At Ebatco, he manages the chemical analysis department and provides expertise in particle sizing, Zeta potential, FTIR and Raman microspectroscopy, AFM, XRD, SEM/EDS, and thermal analysis.
