Scaling Up Nanoemulsion Production: from Pharmaceutical to Cannabis Applications

Descrição:

Scaling up the production of nanoemulsions can be challenging, costly and time consuming. A novel method for the continuous, large-scale manufacturing of nanoemulsions that provides significant cost and time savings, will be presented.

In this webinar you will learn about:

  • A novel method for the scale up of nanoemulsion production
  • How continuous nanoemulsion manufacturing reduces costs and saves time

Description:

Stable nanoemulsions find applications in a variety of industries as intermediates and/or final products. In addition to the pharmaceutical, food/nutraceutics and personal care industries that already have well established nanoemulsion applications, the cannabis industry is especially poised to benefit. Nanoemulsions may enhance the delivery of the water insoluble cannabinoids through food and beverages for oral delivery, creams and ointments for transdermal delivery, sprays for inhalation, only to mention a few. The ability to scale up and reduce the cost of production of nanoemulsions is paramount. Delphi Scientific, LLC has developed a continuous manufacturing process for nanoemulsions, which has been demonstrated to reduce the cost in terms of hardware and operations by over an order or magnitude.
