Environmental Sample Preparation - Best Practices for Analytical Testing Labs

Environmental Sample Preparation - Best Practices for Analytical Testing Labs

Many of the analytical measurements performed by environmental testing labs are carried out following national and international standard test methods. Frequently, these tests include specific requirements for sample preparation techniques before the analysis can be conducted. Laboratory microwaves have become a preferred option when acid digestion or solvent extraction is needed. However, there is often some flexibility in the standards that allow for the use of a variety of acids or solvents as well as selecting appropriate temperature settings depending on the sample type. This webinar will describe how to choose the optimal recipes and illustrate best practices for testing environmental samples.
