Anton Paar has licensed the handheld Raman technology from SciAps Inc. and acquired the Raman product line from BaySpec Inc. The latter consists of benchtop spectrometers known under the name Agility, the high-accuracy RamSpec benchtop spectrometers and the Nomadic Raman microscopes.

The BaySpec products designed in Silicon Valley, USA, incorporate years of experience in spectroscopy in telecom, laboratory, and process environments. The instruments are in use at numerous customers and fields of application around the globe. They stand out with multiple excitation lasers maximizing Raman signals while reducing fluorescence background, a very small footprint  and ruggedness at a competitive price.
