Different from conventional NIR-based methods
The Alcolyzer Wine from Anton Paar uses NIR spectroscopy to measure in a highly alcohol-specific spectral range. The other components of the beverage do not influence the result.

Save time with quick adjustment
The feature that is special about the Alcolyzer Wine compared to other NIR-based alcohol meters is its simple adjustment. To calibrate and adjust the whole measuring range, you only need distilled water and occasionally a water/ethanol solution.

All the results you need
The Alcolyzer Wine determines the alcohol content of wine, sparkling wine, cider and rice wine in %v/v in the range of 0 to 20 %v/v. The sample is filled either by syringe, peristaltic pump or by an automatic sample changer SP-1m or SP-3m. As an option, the Alcolyzer Wine can be combined with an Anton Paar density meter providing additional wine parameters such as alcohol %w/w, density, specific gravity and total extract in g/l.
