The motor drive
|
|
The air bearing-supported synchronous motor is one of the unique key components of the Physica MCR rheometer series. Rapid, linear response coupled with advanced control electronics results in unmatched speed and strain control. This gives you fast response for step tests and allows you to perform strain-controlled oscillatory tests at the smallest torques, and a torque range of over seven decades as well as rotational speeds as low as 10-7 min-1.

A new air bearing for unrivalled precision
|
|
Together with the synchronous motor, the new, very rigid air bearing in the Physica MCR 101/301/501 once again sets new standards: A patented normal force sensor (US-Patent 6,167,752) is located inside the air bearing and detects the natural movement of the bearing due to applied normal forces. This means a precise measurement at the lowest torque values, excellent normal force measurement with minimal signal drift and high thermal stability for all environmental systems and accessories.

New, unique, and easy-to-use - Toolmaster™
|

Toolmaster™ is the first completely automatic tool recognition and configuration system. It recognizes all measurement geometries and environmental systems automatically as soon as they are connected to the rheometer and transfers the data to the software. With Toolmaster, you never have to worry about errors in geometry selection in the software or in the traceable documentation (e.g. for 21CFR Part11); Toolmaster™ solves this problem perfectly.

TruGap™

For accurate and reproducible results of cone-and-plate or parallel-plate measurements you have to make sure that the setting and control of the measuring gap is extremely precise. For the first time, TruGap™ makes it possible to monitor, control and determine the exact gap size, and eliminate errors from thermal expansion and normal force.

Widest range of measuring systems

Concentric cylinder geometries, cone/plate, plate/plate and high shear measuring systems in a variety of sizes and materials are all available as standard items for Physica MCR Rheometers. Specialized measuring systems for construction materials, paper coatings, asphalt, a high-pressure measuring system and many more are also available. We can also supply measuring systems in different materials and/or with special surface treatments such as profiling or sandblasting.

Working area

Every detail of the Physica MCR series is designed for maximum user-friendliness. Using the quick-fitting coupling you can exchange different measuring systems easily in a matter of seconds. The generously large working area allows you optimal access for sample filling, cleaning and trimming.

LAN / Ethernet interface
|
|
The Physica MCR rheometer can be switched between serial and Ethernet communication at the push of a button.
All instruments of the Physica MCR series are equipped with both interfaces as standard.
This enables integration into a network or direct connection with a computer with an Ethernet interface.
Remote maintenance and operation of the instruments via the internet can also be implemented with the appropriate preparation.
The result: higher bit rates, stabler communication and the possibility to remote control the instrument.
The scan function of the RheoPlus software automatically searches your network for all available Anton Paar instruments.
The individual serial number protection for instruments and software prevents undesired access from third parties.

Like our rheometers, RheoPlus software is a modular system that runs under the latest Windows™ operating systems. By defining several user profiles you can configure RheoPlus to meet your individual requirements, from quality assurance to R&D. The software is multilingual and offers you over 70 predefined methods and 200 templates for numerous industrial branches.
