One measuring cycle determines all the parameters you require: alcohol (% v/v and % w/w), specific gravity, original extract, real extract, density, degree of fermentation, calories, etc. Color according to EBC and ASBC and pH measurement are optional. The method is MEBAK approved and the alcohol results are comparative to the distillation method.

Why worry about the adjustment?

This new measuring method does not require the sample-specific adjustment and calibration procedures needed by traditional NIR-based instruments. Simply check daily with water and occasionally with an alcohol/water solution and adjust if necessary. One adjustment is valid across the whole range for all types of beer including non-alcoholic beer, fermenting beer, beer mixtures and cider.

The Anton Paar software records and stores data, creates graphical representations and performs statistical analysis. The operation is intuitive: the look and feel is based on Microsoft Office and therefore familiar to most users.
