Inline Polarimeter

The inline polarimeter from Anton Paar allows continuous measurement of optically active substances inline or online during production. The inline polarimeter is frequently used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and in food applications.

Inline polarimeter: Although polarimeters have long been used in the laboratory, for years their use for inline measurement was not possible as they had mechanically moved parts which wore out quickly. Some years ago Anton Paar developed an inline polarimeter which uses the principle of magneto-optical compensation. This inline polarimeter opens new possibilities for continuous, wear-free online and inline process control.
