CO2 Meter: CarboQC

CarboQC is a portable and robust meter for beverage analysis. It gives you fast, accurate and reliable determination of dissolved carbon dioxide in beverages. When combined with the PFD Filling Device, sample is taken directly from the package into the measuring chamber of CarboQC - with no loss of carbon dioxide during sample transfer.

Accurate and traceable CO2 measurement

  • One instrument suitable for lab and at-line applications
  • No influence of dissolved air (oxygen and nitrogen)
  • Highly accurate absolute pressure sensor, no weather and sea level influence
  • No adjustment with CO2 standards necessary
  • Suitable for pressures of up to 10 bar (145 psi)

Traditional high quality

  • Simple and easy operation
  • Data memory for 99 measurements
  • Battery stack quickly rechargeable for flexible operation
  • Two RS-232 interfaces for transferring measuring results to a printer or PC
  • Press one button to fill, rinse and measure
  • Splash-proof, lightweight plastic housing
  • Minimum bench space required

Combinations for beverage analysis

  • Combination with a DMA 4100/4500/5000 density meter and PFD Filling Device for simultaneous determination of the CO2 content, °Brix and density (this makes the PBA-S system)
  • Combination with Soft Drink Analyzer 2P and PFD Filling Device for simultaneous determination of density, °Brix, CO2, Brix actual, Brix fresh and degree of inversion (this makes the PBA-SI system)
  • Combination with DMA 4500/5000 and Alcolyzer Plus Beer for additional determination of the alcohol content (this makes the PBA-B system)
  • All measurements directly out of the bottle or can, no degassing required
